School Drama Club became the prizewinner of International Arts Festival & Contest in Yaroslavl.

   Our congats to the actors  of our School Drama Club (stage director - Severina O.V.) that became the prizewinner of International Arts Festival & Contest in Yaroslavl. 
   The  young actors  performed "Alice in Wonderland" by L.Caroll. 

   Our "Harry Potter and his friends">>>  and  "Canterville Goast">>>  were awarded with first and third prime respectively in сorrespondence tour of International Arts Festival & Contest in Yaroslavl.

Weekend with English!

Pupils from our school spent a weekend from 9 to 11th of May in the Litvinovo sanitarium where they had a splendid opportunity to practice their English with a teacher from Ireland Cory.

During the training the children discovered their huge creative abilities as they managed to describe an idea of their unusual toy as well as they made a project of their own country.

The children took part in the surprising Irish quest and had a lot of fun at the evening parties.

All enjoyed the weekend so much as it seemed to us to have lasted at least a week.

"Harry Potter and His Friends" presented at Moscow School Theatre Festival

   Actors from our school played "Harry Potter and His Friends" for the Moscow School Theatre Festival on February,27, 2015.
 
    The performance was warmly greeted by the audience from different schools of our district.

Pupils of 6-B discuss environmental problems

    The pupils of 6-B form presented their project works devoted to the ecological problems at the open lesson given by their teaches Paramonova D.A. and Samsonova N.I.
    The schoolchilden shared their ideas on the situation around greenhouse effect, water and air pollution. The lesson highlighted the importance of talks on the ecological situation and helped the children to realize it.

   Students of our school Silin Nikita (7-B) and Lashchuk Nastya (5-A) took part in the Munucipal round of a poetry recitation contest "Literary Lounge" dedicated to the year of Great Britain in Russia.


    Silin Nikita recited  Rupert Brooke's "The Soldier" and Nastya Lashchuk dramatised Alan Miln's poem "Buckingham palace"
   According to the results of the contest Nastya Lashchuk won 3 place among the students of 5-6 forms.

Students of 9-B presented their projects

     Project works on the theme "Famous people in history" were prepared by students of 9-B form under supervision of Korkmasova A.B.
     At the lesson the students told the biographies of famous Russian sportsmen, game developers and other outstanding people.

Conference "In the world of plants" was held in the 5-th forms

A real travelling in the world of trees and flowers was arranged in the 5-th forms by the pupils and their teacher Severina O.V.
The children prepared for the lesson their interesting stories about different plants and the audience should guess the plant according to its description.

Debates on Crimea were held in a group of 6-B form

      Pupils of 6-B form (teacher Severina O.V.) held a lesson where they discussed a very serious questions connecting with the latest events in Ukraine.

      Children learned how to prove different points of view as they represented Russian authorities, Ukrainian government, Crimean residents, members of European Union etc.
        They were very enthusiastic about preparing for their roles.

    The winner of their debates was for sure their English.

Our senior students took part in Moscow Scientific Student Conference in Foreign Languages “Lingua-2014”

     On March 24th, 2014 students of 10-A Ivelina Tileva, Angelina Chernenko and 11-A students Svetlana Parshina and Polina Smirnova (teacher Samsonova N.I) participated in XVI Moscow Scientific Student Conference in Foreign Languages “Lingua-2014”.
     The thesis statements of their research papers were included to the collection of articles which will be published after the conference.
         Ivelina Tileva won in nomination “For The Best English”.

“The Canterville Ghost” is the second place winner of the municipal theatrical contest!

Congratulations to the pupils of 6-B form:  Agronova D, Veips Ph., Doroshenko N., Kashirina J., Lisitsa T., Pilyugina A., Seryoznova D., Silin N., Sitnikov N., Strelkova K., and their teachers Severina O.V., and Seryoznova E.I. who had staged and performed “The Canterville Ghost”, as they took the second place in the municipal theatrical contest among the pupils of 5-8 forms.

Eurovision Song Contest - 2014.

Traditionally the English Week in our school was finalized with the Eurovision Song Contest where the best singers of 5-11 forms showed off their talents. This year the contest coincided with St. Valentine’s Day (on February,14) may be because of that fact the number of volunteers to participate in it was enormous thus the organizers of the contest had to hold a semifinal.
      But the final concert was so perfect that it took much effort to the jury to call the winners. This year among the members of the jury there were an honorable guest of our school - Attache for culture and education Embassy of Spain Tatyana Drozdoff Diez, Ulengova Olga F (Studio "Karamelki"), Grachev Andrey ( Theatre actor), Nevolin Alexandr (DT "Novo-Peredelkino") and director of our school A.V.Savelyeva. They listed the top singers:

Poetry Recitation Contest in Foreign Languages among the pupils of 5-9 forms

On February 13th Poetry Recitation Contest was held not only in English, but French and German languages. Contest was held among the pupils of 5-9 forms. The children recited poems by W. Shakespeare, R. Burns, R. Kiplling and others.

Poetry Recitation Contest among the pupils of 3-4 forms

On February 12th Poetry Recitation Contest was held among the pupils of 3-4 forms. The children recited poems by classical and modern writers, such as Kiplling, Milne, Longfellow and many others. It was very difficult to choose the best among them.

The winners were the following:                     
Among 4-year-pupils:

• Glazkova Sonya (4-C) - the first place (teacher is Severina O.V.)

• Ponomaryov Artyom (4-C) and  Sandourskaya Alina (4-А) - the second place (teachers are Severina O.V. and Seryoznova E. I.)

•  Plevo Xenia and Zubova Polina (4-A) - the third place   (teachers are Seryoznova E. I. and Severina O.V)

Presentation contest "My favourite book"

On February, 10th participants of the presentation contest "My favourite book" told to the audience and jury about books they had read and illustrated their story with colourful presentations.
About 20 pupils, encouraged by their teacher N.D.Belova, took part in the school contest but only some of them were announced as winners and prizeholders.
They are:

• Vavilova Katya (8-A), Bryndina Masha (8-A) - the second place
  

•  Gulieva Elmira (8-A), Tyubayeva Nastya (8-A)  - the third place
