Lesson “Royal Russia” prepared by O.V.Severina for the students of form 6-B aimed to remind children about the 400th anniversary of Romanov House celebrated in Russia this year.
According to the programme students studied British monarchs and it was a splendid opportunity to remember and to compare them with Russian ones.
At the lesson students got to know that representatives of Windsor and Romanov
Houses were relatives but their fortune was so different.
If British
monarchs are still on the throne their Russian relations became holy martyrs. Children
listened to the interview with one of the Romanov’s descendants and made their
own conclusion about the contribution of Romanov House to the history and
development of Russian state.
